Obituary of Kathryn Richardson

Kathryn L. Richardson Hinsdale, NY�"Kathryn L. Richardson of Hinsdale died Wednesday (March 31, 2010) in the Olean General Hospital after a brief illness. Born September 23, 1950 in Silver Creek, NY she was the daughter of Glen R. and Wilma Gens Crowell. On June 27, 1970 in Derby, NY she married Danny "Rach" Richardson who survives. Kathryn was a graduate of Lakeshore Central School and had been a 38 year employee of the US Government. The past 36 years of her career had been with the Social Security office in Olean prior to her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and horseback riding. She especially enjoyed riding and caring for her horse Penny. Surviving besides her husband are her mother of Angola, NY; 1 son Matthew R. (Ami) Richardson of Allegany; 4 grandchildren Jordan, Tylor, Dylan and Hayden; 1 sister Lorie (Vida) Vitello of Olean and 2 nieces Nicole and Megan. She was predeceased by her father in 2005. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday (April 3, 2010) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Anthony L. Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
